Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav has long been known for his peculiar dress-up acts — sometimes as Lord Krishna with a flute and a peacock's feather, other times as Lord Shiva adorned with 'rudraksh' beads. He has also been seen being fed by his mother, Rabri Devi or on some occasions, taking on different fitness regimes.

Recently, he was seen wandering the streets of Patna in another Lord Shiva attire, flashing his 'rudraksh' beads and the holy jug in his hand. An ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, Yadav was spotted wearing a white dhoti as he performing a puja before a shiva linga. Reportedly, whenever the politician goes to Mathura, he becomes the talk of the town.

The Opposition, has meanwhile, fumed over Yadav's 'antics' and called it all a 'drama'. BJP MLA Mithilesh Tiwari said, "If Tej Pratapji calls himself Krishna, then why has he abandoned his Radha-like wife? Let a God be a God, do not use it for your own purposes," he added.

Tiwari also said that Yadav's tricks are similar to that of his father and this is not going to earn him anything beneficial.

In the past, too, Yadav took the outfits to an extreme as he donned the look of Lord Krishna when on a visit to a gaushala. At the time, it earned him the sobriquet, 'Lalu ka Kanhaiya'. Incidentally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had praised Yadav for his many get-ups and the devotion to his faith.
