SSC CHSL 2020 exam details to be announced on Friday, Answer Key 2020 out

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CHSL 2020 exam details are expected to be announced on Friday. With the release of the SSC CHSL 2020 notification, application process will also start.

As per the exam calendar released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) last month on October 7, the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam will be released on Friday. 

The registration process for the exam will also commence on Friday and the exam will be held in April 2021. 

Qualification 

The minimum educational qualification required to sit in the SSC CHSL exam is to have a Class 12 pass certificate.

CHSL includes Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts.

SSC will select and recommend candidates for CHSL posts through a computer-based test, descriptive paper, and skill test, or typing test.

The computer-based test will have questions from English language, general intelligence, quantitative aptitude and general awareness.

Answer keys released

Meanwhile, for the CHSL 2019 exam which was completed on October 26, SSC has released the answer keys. On Thursday the Staff Selection Commission released the Tentative Answer Key and Response Sheet for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Tier-I Exam 2019-20 on its official website ssc.nic.in.

The SSC CHSL 2019 answer keys are available on the official website.

SSC has allowed candidates to challenge the answer keys. As per media report, candidates can also submit objections or representations, if any, against any answer through online mode from 5 November to 10 November till 6pm. 

A payment of Rs 100 will be applicable per answer challenged.

Candidates have also been advised to take a print out of their response sheets as the same won't be available online after 6 pm on 10 November.

The result for the exam, which was conducted from 17 to 19 March and from 12 to 16 October, and then from 19 to 21 October and on 26 October, is expected to be released soon.

The exam was held for the recruitment of 4,893 Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operators (DEO), and Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), said the JagranJosh report. Those who clear the Tier-1 will be called for Tier-2.
