The announcement date for the Maharashtra Board SSC Results 2015 for class 10 has not been confirmed yet. Although there were speculations of the results being declared on June 6 ie;Saturday, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has not released any official date for declaration of the results as of now.

The SSC students took their exams in March, 2015 and have been awaiting their results. Around 16 lakh students take the SSC exams (meant for class 10) in Maharashtra ever year. The Maharashtra Board had declared the HSC 2015 result for class 12 on their official website on 27 May.

According to reports, the Kolhapur divisional secretary, Sharad Gosavi, said that due to the teachers' strike this year, the assessment of the answer sheets of students have been affected. Therefore, the marksheets will be dispatched to schools a week after the announcement of MSBSHSE SSC Results 2015, the certificates will be available to the students in their respective schools. 

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, is an autonomous body. The MSBSHSE conducts the HSC (12th) and SSC (10th)  Examinations in Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at various sites in states which are: Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year, there are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Junior colleges in the state.

The result will be declared on official website of the board - mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in.
