According to the latest observations by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the northern limit of monsoon passed through Alibagh, Pune, Solapur, Hyderabad, Kalingpatnam, Paradip, Bankura and Gangtok.
The IMD said that the conditions are favourable for rains in some parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai, remaining parts of Karnataka and some more parts of Andhra Pradesh during the next 2-3 days.
