Chetan Bajad, son of a driver at Indore district court, has cracked the civil judge class-II recruitment examination exam fulfilling his father's wishes to become a judge.

According to reports by PTI, Bajad scored 257.5 marks out of 450 in the written exam and the interview, gaining 13th rank in the Other Backward Class category.

Jabalpur-based Madhya Pradesh High Court released the provisional selection list on Wednesday.

Describing his father as an inspiration behind him giving the civil judge class-II recruitment examination, he said that his father always wanted one of his three sons to become a judge.

"I was always determined to become a judge. Seeing my father & grandfather work in Court helped me set a goal", Chetan Bajad said to ANI.

"I will perform my duties honestly. I will try my best to deliver justice and set an example in society," he added.

Elaborating on his hard work for clearing the examination, he said, "I used to go to the library at 8 AM and used to return in evening at 9-10 PM where my family members would be waiting for me for dinner."

His elated mother too expressed delight over the achievement of his son.

"I am very happy," she said

A law graduate, Bajad cracked the examination in his fourth attempt.
