Slight relief from chill as mercury rises to 6.2
The cold wave sweeping Delhi over the last week abated slightly on Monday with the mercury rising to 6.2 degree Celsius.
NEW DELHI: The cold wave sweeping Delhi over the last week abated slightly on Monday with the mercury rising to 6.2 degree Celsius.
With the minimum temperature rising, from 5 degrees yesterday, to 6.2 degrees C, the chill over the city since the last week slightly abated.
Though there was a slight mist in the morning, visibility levels remained normal at 1000m.
The chill could abate further in the next few days with the weatherman forecasting a rise in minimum temperature to 7 degrees C on Tuesday.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in the capital during the next 24 hours.
