In yet another shocking case of child abuse, a Class IV student from an Islamic madrasa from Haryana was allegedly bound with chains for not finishing his homework, reports News 18..

The matter came to light after his father approached the police and lodged a complaint against the teachers. He also demanded a strict action against the teachers.

The child, studying at Nushrat Ali Islamic Madrasa, was chained to prevent him from bunking classes regularly. 

The teachers at the say that he had fled from there on Monday without finishing his school work and hence was in shackles.

They also said they he would bunk classes on a daily basis. "We did it to stop him from fleeing home during school hours," teachers reportedly told the police.

Cases have been registered two teachers - Sabir nd Mubarak - under many sections of the IPC, 506 (threatening to life) and the Juvenile Justice Act.
