The Congress on Thursday received a jolt in Delhi when it lost two assembly seats held by it, as BJP wrested one while the RJD opened its account.

In Dwarka, BJP’s Parduymn Rajput defeated Congress’s Tilotma Choudhary by 11,365 votes while in Okhla RJD’s Asif Mohd Khan emerged victorious over BSP’s Braham Singh by 5,000 votes.

In a jolt to NDA in Bihar, opposition RJD, LJP and Congress bagged 10 assembly seats while JD-U and BJP won six seats in the polls  in 18 constituencies. The two other seats went to BSP and an independent.
