In another attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) slammed the party after Shiv Sainiks allegedly distributed sanitary napkins carrying Aditya Thackeray's picture on the packets.

Aditya is the son of CM Thackeray and the State Environment and Tourism Minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

Sandeep Deshpande, a senior MNS leader on Thursday alleged that party workers distributed 500 packets of sanitary napkins with Aditya Thackeray's photo printed on it among women in the Colaba Assembly constituency.

Aditya is also the president of the Yuva Sena.

The napkins were distributed to the needs as many areas of Mumbai have been sealed owing to the rapidly rising number of COVID-19 cases.

The city has been hardly hit by coronavirus with nearly 24,000 cases recorded from it so far, as per data from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 841 people have died in Mumbai due to the virus.
