At a meeting attended by all her Cabinet colleagues and top officials, Dikshit reviewed progress of work of all the key infrastructure projects as well as street-scrapping works.

Warning officials of PWD, MCD and NDMC against any complacency, she said all the projects being implemented by these agencies must be completed by the final deadline of August 31.

She also directed each of the implementing agencies to present its detail reports about their expenditure as well as projects done or being implemented by them.

Top officials of various agencies including MCD, NDMC, Delhi Jal Board, DDA and PWD attended the meeting.

Facing criticism for the city's tardy preparation for the event, Dikshit last month had threatened to blacklist contractors if they fail to complete works within August 31.
