Union agriculture minister and NCP president Sharad Pawar has convened the extended working committee meeting of his party's Maharashtra unit on August 28 in an attempt to reestablish cordial relations between warring party leaders.Pawar has decided to accord priority to trying to bring rapprochement between warring NCP leaders from differentdistricts including home minister RR Patil and rural development minister Jayant Patil, who hails from Sangli district in Western Maharashtra, they said.
