Seven devotees, including two women and a boy, were killed and 13 others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a ditch in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh, police said today.
 
The incident occurred last night at around 11.30am when a mini-van carrying about 40 persons from East Godavari district was proceeding towards Kanaka Durg Temple in Vijayawada, they said.
 
It plunged into a 40-feet ditch when the driver lost control over the wheel near Tulasipak under Chintoor mandal, a police officer told PTI over phone.
 
The injured were shifted to hospitals in Bhadrachalam and Khammam, police said.
