As RBI Governor Urjit Patel prepared to leave the room after a longish parliamentary panel meeting today, a selfie request came his way to which he could not say no.

Rattan Lal Kataria, a Lok Sabha member from Ambala, clicked the selfie soon after the more-than-three-hour long meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance got over.

While all other members left for refreshments immediately after the meeting, Kataria, who was clad in light coloured kurta, waited for the formally dressed Patel at the entrance of the committee room to click his prized selfie.

Patel, who keeps a low profile, today faced a barrage of queries related to demonetization and various other issues during his second appearance before the committee.
