A sessions court today granted bail to self-acclaimed scientist and miracle doctor Munir Khan, arrested in May this year on charges of cheating and fraud.Khan, who was on the run for last one year, was arrested on May 12 this year and has been accused of cheating over 120 persons by claiming that his medicine 'Body Revival' can cure all diseases including cancer.The medicine was priced at Rs 16000 per 100 ml bottle."Khan was today granted bail on a surety of Rs 50000 after the sessions court observed that his custodial interrogation was not required further by the police," his lawyer Niranjan Mundargi said.Other than cheating and fraud, Khan has also been booked under relevant sections of The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act and the Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act.
