The mine went off when two jawans of the Special Security Battalion (SSB) were crossing a culvert at a place between naxal-infested Narayanpatna and Laxmipur, about 70 km from Koraput, they said.

While one of the jawans sustained injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital, his colleague escaped unhurt, they said.
