The State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the SBI Clerk (JA) Main 2018 Examination. Earlier, SBI had released a notification that the SBI 2018 Exam for Junior Associates (JA) or Clerk will be declared before September 22. The candidates can check the SBI Clerk Main Exam Results 2018 on www.sbi.co.in/careers.

The SBI notification released earlier said, "Candidates are requested to please note that the result of Main Examination 2018 is expected to be declared by 22-09-2018. Further the joining date of provisionally selected candidates is expected to be by 1st week of December, 2018."

"Minimum percentage marks on aggregate will be decided by the Bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject are prescribed. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise. Candidates qualified in the test (main exam) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and categories,' reads the job notification."

Here is how candidates can check the SBI JA 2018 Main Exam Result

Step 1: Log on to the official SBI sbi.co.in

Step 2: Click on the careers tab

Step 3: Select 'Join SBI Current Openings' and click on 'Current Openings'

Step 4: Also click on the direct link to access the PDF document.

Step 5: A PDF file containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will be displayed 

Step 6: Download the same and take a printout for future reference

SBI clerk recruitment process 2018

Seats are filled on the basis of an online preliminary test, main examination and test of specified opted language.  

The preliminary examination consisted of an objective based test of 100 marks. The paper contained 30 questions on the English Language, 35 questions each on Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

A merit list is created on the basis of marks obtained in the prelims and qualified candidates will appear in the main exam. The number of shortlisted candidates will be approximately 10 times the total number of available seats (90,000).
