SBI recruitment 2020: Applications invited for 2000 POs posts, check eligibility, salary and other details

The recruitment drive is looking to fill 2000 positions, out of which 200 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the EWS or Economic Weaker Section of the society.

The State Bank of India has invited applications for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO). The application process began on Diwali, November 14. The application has to be filled by candidates latest by December 4.

The preliminary exams will start on December 31, and it will be held for four days at various centres.

The exams will conclude on January 5.

The process of recruitment will include a 3-round process-- prelims, mains, and final interview round.

Candidates will be tested on English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability for the Prelims.  The online exam will run for one hour for a total of 100 marks.

Candidates must be at least 21 years and not more than 30 as on April 04, 2020, and candidates must have a graduation degree from any field of expertise. Moreover, candidates who are final semester of the bachelor’s degree programme can also apply, but they have to produce proof of their examination on or before December 31 so the candidates whose results or exams are pending due to pandemic can apply.

According to the notification, the basic pay for  Probationary Officers is Rs 27,620 with four advance increments and will have to serve a bond of two years with the bank. Moreover, the candidates are available for benefits like DA, CCA, HRD.

Candidates can also apply for pre-exam training.
