SBI, Paytm, Netflix and major Indian brands join 'Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ trend, spark a meme fest

All of you must be aware of the 'Pawri hori hai' trend that has taken over the internet by storm. The trend started after the Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen posted a hilarious video, which later resulted in floods of memes and jokes all over the social media platforms.

In a 15 second video, Mobeen is seen vacationing in a hilly location where she can be heard saying "Ye humari car hai aur yeh hum hai aur ye humari pawari ho rahi hai".

Since then, netizens have created their versions. Meanwhile, many brands have also decided to join the meme fest! Making the most of the trend, several Indian brands are also campaigning using the “pawri hori hai” tagline.

In a tweet, State Bank of India wrote, ”Aise offers ho toh pawwrty toh banti hai. #YONOSBI #PawriHoRiHai.” 

Paytm also joined the laughter club and tweeted "#pawrihorihai".

The popularity of the video reached its crescendo when Netflix took to Twitter and wrote "Yeh humari car hai Yeh hum hai Hope we’re not too late to the parrrrty".

Notably, Dananeer Mobeen is a 19-year-old Pakistani influencer and content creator based in Islamabad. She enjoys a wide fan following of over 435 K followers on social media. She regularly creates content on a range of topics including the latest make-up and fashion trends.

In her last Instagram live season, she expressed her happiness saying, “I am so happy that my light-hearted video is also being enjoyed across the border, especially at a time when there a lot of tension and polarization in the world,”.
