Trinamool Congress MP Srinjoy Bose, who is in judicial custody in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam, was on Monday admitted to the state-run SSKM Hospital after he complained of heart problems.

Bose had taken ill last night inside the jail and was admitted to the hospital this morning, attending doctors said. He had complained of pain related to spondylitis and heart problems. His treatment is going on and several medical tests will also be conducted, they said. Bose, who runs the Bengali newspaper 'Sangbad Pratidin', was arrested on November 21 by the CBI. He has been remanded to judicial custody till December 5.
