JODHPUR: A district and sessions court on Monday adjourned hearing in appeals filed by film star Salman Khan against his conviction in two poaching cases.


After hearing arguments, Judge Goverdhan Singh Surana adjourned the hearing to February 21, Salman's counsel HM Saraswat said.

In Bhawad poaching case, an appeal was filed by Salman against the one-year imprisonment awarded to him on February 17 last year. He was also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000.

In the Ghora Farm case, the Chief Judicial Magistrate (Jodhpur) sentenced him to five-year imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 in April last year.


The Bollywood actor has filed an appeal against this judgement too.
