S Sreesanth life ban plea: Supreme Court notice to BCCI
The Supreme Court on Monday sought a response from two office bearers of BCCI's Committee of Administrators (CoA).
The Supreme Court on Monday refused to grant interim relief to controversial cricketer S Sreesanth while it sought a reply from the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) on his lifetime ban. A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra issued the notice to BCCI.
Representing Sreesanth, senior advocate Salman Khurshid submitted that when criminal charges of match-fixing against Sreesanth have been dismissed, then on what grounds can the BCCI ban him.
