Russia will build at least 12 nuclear reactors for power stations in India, the Russian Atomic Agency's head Sergei Kiriyenko said on Friday.

"So far it is clear that it will be twelve (reactors). And this is not the final figure," Kiriyenko told reporters, adding that six reactors would be built between 2012 and 2017, while construction of the Haripur station in West Bengal would likely begin after 2017.
