To carry forward its legacy of service to the nation, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) wants ideal pracharaks. Deliberations about the same were held at the Jaipur meetings where Sangh’s perception of an ideal pracharak were put forth, by none other than the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Over 200 pracharaks from across the state were present at the session held at Bharti Bhawan, the state RSS headquarters in Jaipur. In a session that went on for over four hours, Bhagwat explained to them what are the ideal traits required from a pracharak. What type of lifestyle, personality, behaviour and work ethics need to be adopted by him to fits into the parameters of an ideal pracharak.

The pracharak should have impeccable character, he should be able to inspire others. The society should benefit from the pracharak, he explained. The session was well received by the audience and they were in agreement with the RSS chief.

As per an informed source speaking to DNA that the day included three sessions by RSS chief Bhagwat on Friday that primarily focused on three sessions about the pracharak system which is spine of the RSS. During his address, Bhagwat had highlighted the dos and don’ts for a pracharak. He stressed on hard work, simplicity, renunciation and dedication are the identities of a RSS pracharak. 

Explaining the meaning of pracharak, Bhagwat said prachar means publicity and pracharak is the one who publicises. Elaborating further he said, the pracharak does a selfless job in the interest of the society and country.
