RRB NTPC 2016 Exams postponed, new dates yet to be announced
According to reports, question paper leak is the reason behind postponement.
Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRB) has postponed its online written examination. The board took the decision after allegations of paper leak, as per reports
Exams of candidates scheduled to be conducted between April 27 and May 3. The board is yet to announce the revised schedule for the exams.
About one crore candidates are slated to appear for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) jobs . The number of vacant posts are 18252.
The candidates will be briefed about the changed date and venue later via mobile alerts.
Many candidates received this message, “Due to unavoidable Circumstances, your NTPC (graduate) examination has been rescheduled to a later date. Your revised date and venue will be communicated to you shortly – Railway Recruitment Boards.”
The participating Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Channdigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri and Thiruvananthapuram.
