Rourkela Media club has accused the Orissa government of not being able to provide accreditation to working journalists in the state for many years.

"As the government is not providing accreditation, journalists working in the field are facing various problems in discharging their duties," members of the club claimed.

In a meeting held here yesterday, the members urged the state government to take immediate steps in providing accreditation to cases pending for years. They also urged the government to strengthen their public relations departments by providing latest equipment for better publicity of the programmes undertaken by the government.
