Robbers flee with cables worth Rs 6 lakh

Aluminium cables worth Rs six lakh were robbed by a seven-member gang, which broke into a cable company in Sinnar locality, police said today.The dacoity took place yesterday when the armed men entered the unit after roughing up the security guards and then locking them in a room, they said.The robbers threatened the company employees with swords and choppers and fled away with cables and cell-phones of the staff, police said adding further investigations are on.
