Reports say 3-4 ISIS terrorists trying to enter Mumbai via sea, police and Coast Guard deny claim
No such report, according to intelligence agencies.
On Monday, reports stated that the Indian Coast Guard has sent a message to the Mumbai police and other intelligence agencies that 3-4 ISIS terrorists were trying to enter Mumbai through the sea. Mumbai police and others were reportedly asked to stay on high alert.
However, senior officials in the both agencies – the Indian Coast Guard and Mumbai Police – denied the claims stating that there was no such alert. In 2008, Ajmal Kasab and nine other terrorists had come on a boat and unleashed terror in Mumbai, on 26/11.
