Union Public Service Commission has released the applications and the
official notification for the CSE (Civil Services Examination) today. UPSC will release the details along with exam schedule, eligibility and the exam pattern on the official website. According to the official
UPSC calendar, the online application process for Civil Services Examinations will begin from 19 February 2019. Interested candidates can log on to the official UPSC website to upsc.gov.in to apply.
The Civil Services Examination is conducted to select candidates to fill various administrative positions. These administrative positions are in different All-India services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and IRTS.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Application Begins: 19 February 2019
Last date to apply: 18 March 2019- till 6:00pm
Date of Upload: 19 February 2019
The application form contains two parts:
Phase 1: Candidate will have to fill basic information.
Phase 2: Filling up Payment details (except for fee exempted candidates), selection of examination center, uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document and Declaration
The admit card will be made available on the UPSC website three weeks before the date of examination.
Here is how you can apply for UPSC CSE 2019:
4. Read the
instructions carefully before filling the application form
5. Fill in all the details required in the form
6. Fill in the final application form and press 'I Agree' button
7. Registration number will be generated, save and take a print for future reference
NOTE:
-No admit cards will be sent by post
-Mobile phones are banned from the venue of the examination
-Candidates may please note that changes are not allowed in the online application
-If you wish to make any changes, you may submit a fresh application with requisite revision by the last date for receipt of application i.e. 18-03-2019 (6:00 P.M.)
LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
The documents needed during the application process are
1. Any certificate in support of age
2. Certificates of educational qualifications, Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes and Persons with Benchmark Disability etc
3. Verifications of documents will be done at the time of the main examination only.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
-The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination.
-The admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
-Mere issue of e-Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.
-The Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.
