The prospect of the BS Yeddyurappa-led BJP government in Karnataka passing the floor test on October 11 looked bleak with dissidents vowing to vote it out on that day and ruling out any reconciliation.

"We are all united. 19 of us will vote against the government in the Assembly on October 11", former minister Balachandra Jarkiholi, who has taken over the leadership of dissidents from excise minister MP Renukacharya who has returned to the Yeddyurappa camp, told reporters in Goa before leaving for Chennai.

Jarkiholi, the master-mind behind the current revolt warned if Yeddyurappa used any other methods to disqualify the rebels, the state would come under President's rule from October 12.

He also slammed speaker KG Bopaiah for giving them a three-day time limit to respond to the showcause notice issued on a petition filed by Yeddyurappa seeking their disqualification from assembly membership.
