Ramtek Lok Sabha Election Result 2019: Shivsena's Krupal Balaji Tumane remains victorious for Shivsena

Result Update: Krupal Balaji Tumane wins again for the Shivsena by 126783 votes against Congress' Kishore Uttamrao Gajbhiye in Ramtek. 

The Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency was one of the 48 constituencies in Maharashtra which was created in 1957 with the abolition of Amravati west. It is a constituency which sent former PM PV Narasimha Rao to parliament in 1984 and 1989. 

In 2014, Shiv Sena's Krupal Balaji Tumane beat INC's Mukul Wasnik by 1,75,791 votes avenging his loss in 2009 to the same opponent by 16,701 votes. Tumane is again in the fray this year while Congress has picked Kishore Uttamrao Gajbhiye. 

In 2014, BJP and Shiv Sena won 23 and 18 seats respectively. The Congress just got two while the NCP won 4 and Swabhimani Paksha got 1.  In 2019, the BJP and Sena alliance is set to take on the Congress-NCP alliance.

Congress' Kishore Uttamrao Gajbhiye will lock horns with Sena's Kripal Tumane and BSP's Subhash Dharamdas Gajbhiye.

Maharashtra is going to vote in four phases.
