Congress today charged Yoga guru Ramdev and social activist Anna Hazare of having a "hidden agenda" to destabilise the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre."They have a hidden agenda to destabilise our government in the Centre. In the name of waging a war against corruption, they are spearheading their movement against the Congress-led UPA government. I demand they declare their movable and immovable assets", AICC general secretary Luizinho Faleiro told a public meeting in Agartala."Interestingly, while Ramdev and Anna Hazare are targeting the UPA government on corruption issues, the same people remain mum on the corruption of BJP led government in Karnataka," he pointed out.Falerio claimed the Congress has the guts to act tough against corruption. "Ashok Chavan and A Raja were forced to step down as they faced corruption charges," he added.Criticising the Left Front government in Tripura, Faleiro alleged that the ruling party leaders were indulging in corruption, malpractice and nepotism."The Centre has 16 flagship programmes which are being implemented across the state and the leaders were siphoning off huge money from government schemes," he said.Faleiro alleged that the BPL population had increased in the state from 58 per cent in 1978 to 67 per cent in 2011.He urged the party leaders, workers and supporters to be united to end the ‘misrule’ of the Left Front government.
