"I thank you with all my heart; it's with hearts that we are related. Our family has held attachment with you, Indiraji came, Rajeevji came here, Soniaji came here and now I have come. Thus you must always consider me as your own soldier in Delhi," he said.

Rahul was on a day tour to Rajasthan on Saturday to boost the party prospectus in Mewar and Bikaner region. He commenced his tour with an interactive session with professionals at Udaipur and addressed public gatherings at Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Hanumangarh districts. He had keen focus on farmers for which Congress has announced a loan waiver in. "I went to prime minister's office and asked him to waive off loan on farmers. He waived 3.5 lakh crore rupees on select industrialists. I asked him for justice but he said nothing and stared me as if I was wrong," Rahul said.

Gandhi launched several attacks on the BJP governments in the state and Centre. He inquired of the name of a student in the gathering and quoted his example to generalize the hardships faced by citizens due to demonetization and 'Gabbar Singh Tax' which he uses to define the GST. He also had the audience repeat with him the slogan of 'Chokidar Chor hai'.
