The visit has been postponed because rains have made Ramlila Ground, venue for Rahul's programme, unfit to hold the event, his representative Chandrakant Dubey said.

Rahul was scheduled to inaugurate nine branches of the State Bank of India and an FM radio station and also address his supporters at the Ramlila Ground here.

The next date for the programme would be announced soon. It will be held later this month, he added.
