Rahul Gandhi was the star speaker at a well-attended Congress rally in Banda, the centre of the Bundelkhand region in UP. The region has been a traditional Congress bastion since Independence, and the party is seeking to build up on its election campaign for the 2012 UP assembly poll from here.
