Punjab: Shopkeeper held for molesting school girls

Police police today arrested a local shopkeeper for allegedly molesting school girls in Rupanagar district.

The accused, Jagdish Ahuja, runs grocery store near the Khalsa Senior Secondary school here.

SHO (city) Rajpal Singh Gill said that principal of the school informed the police after eight girls of classes 6 to 8 complained that Ahuja used to call them inside his shop and touched them inappropriately, he said.

A case was registered against Ahuja and he was arrested.

He will produced in a court tomorrow, the SHO said.
