Opposition AIADMK Monday charged the ruling AINRC government of "dragging its feet" over cooperating with Tamil Nadu police in locating and arresting former Puducherry Education minister PML Kalyanasundaram, accused of engaging a proxy to impersonate him in the Tenth standard supplementary exam.Kalyanasundaram, who has been evading arrest by Tamil Nadu police since Tuesday, was sacked from the Puducherry cabinet on Saturday by Chief Minister N Rangasamy.Kalyanasundaram's anticipatory bail plea had been rejected by the Madras High Court on November 8.Puducherry unit secretary of the AIADMK, A Anbalagan, told reporters here today that Kalyanasundaram, "was hiding in Puducherry only"."The Puducherry government is dragging its feet in facilitating the efforts of the Tamil Nadu police (in locating the former minister) and there should be no delay in handing over Kalyanasundaram to the police," Anbalagan said.Criminal cases have been lodged against Kalyanasundaram in connection with the alleged impersonation, which took place on September 29 in Tindivanam in Villupuram district in neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
