Katras Vikash Manch president Nitish Thakkar leading the agitation shaved his head at Katrasgarh station followed by other activists.

After shaving their heads the activists sat on dharna.

Thakkar warned that women of Katras too would shave their heads if the Railway Board fails to withdraw the decision of closing the Dhanbad-Chandrapura railway track.

The Railway Board closed the Dhanbad-Chandrapura railway line from June 15 and cancelled 19 passengers trains and 20 pairs of goods trains due to raging mines fire towards track.
