An administrative probe has been ordered into the collapse of an under-construction bridge on Chambal river here that left six labourers dead. The inquiry was ordered by chief minister Ashok Gehlot, who visited the spot today.

The probe will be carried out by divisional commissioner of Kota PL Agarwal and additional chief engineer of Public Works Department.

Agarwal said an inquiry will also be carried out by the National Highway Authority of India with a team of experts. While six persons were killed, about 50 others went missing after the bridge collapsed here yesterday.
