He said that Priyanka's "neech rajniti" barb hurled against Modi demonstrated her "elitist disdain" propelled by the realization that the Congress was going to lose the Lok Sabha election. "It is not only regrettable, but she owes an apology to the nation. This is actually an insult of the poor and those who are backward. This is not low level politics, but usage of such low words is casteist," he pointed out.

Priyanka had yesterday hit out at Modi saying he had insulted her "martyred" father Rajiv Gandhi during his speech in Amethi and accused BJP's prime ministerial candidate of indulging in "low-level" politics. Prasad said that the legacy of UPA's 10-year-old rule in India is "SCAM India".

"The legacy of UPA's 10 year old regime is SCAM India. There are two issues - one is development of India and another one is to stop Modi - they don't have any other issue," he said. Prasad said that the Congress party was behaving like a school kid which is more interested in complaining than campaigning.

Asked to react on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's concerns on Modi;s statement about Bangladeshi infiltrators, Prasad said, "I have not seen the statement. So I don't want to comment. But the BJP's history of maintaining good relation with all its neighbours is well known".
