Prithviraj, currently posted as DIG (Works) in the Engineering department of BSF in New Delhi, will head the BSF's Assam-Meghalaya frontier.

Prithviraj, who will be replacing outgoing IG PK Mishra, will take charge on February 5.

Mishra has been posted as staff officer to the director general in BSF headquarters in New Delhi, BSF sources said.
