In another shocking gang-rape case in Uttar Pradesh, a 32-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly gang-raped by unidentified men when she stepped out of her home on early Friday morning in Kachula village of Badayun district.

Family members of the victim told the police that she had gone out for relieving herself at around 5 am on Friday. She was attacked by unidentified men who tied her hands and legs and gagged her before raping her one by one.

When she did not return, the family launched a search and found her bleeding and unconscious in a field.

SSP Badayun Chandra Prakash said that a case has been registered against unidentified men and the woman was shifted to Bareilly hospital when her condition deteriorated. Her condition was stated be critical due to pregnancy at the Bareilly hospital where her medical examination was also conducted.

"We will record her statement once her condition stabilizes and she regains full consciousness. Investigation is on in the case and we have formed teams to catch rapists at the earliest," said the SSP.
