The body of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) leader Thomas Munda, killed by Maoists, was seized by police today from near a railway track at Ranjeda in Orissa's Sundargarh district.

The body of Munda, an employee of Sail's Kalta mines, was located yesterday on the railway track between Ranjeda and Topadih under K Balang police station area, police said.

The Maoist posters were also seized from the spot. Munda had been abducted by armed Maoists from Kalta mines on January 25.

The body will be handed over to the family after post mortem.
