As per a Times of India report, the order was issued by the temple's administrative committee chairperson and district judge Justice V Shircy.

According to the report, the raids took place due to an ego clash between  the administrative committee head and executive officer.

Satheesh has said that the walkie-talkies were brought only for a demo and would be bought only if found feasible. He added that the wireless sets were brought as mobile phones are not allowed in the temple. "Since mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple, official communication gets affected even when it's crucial," he said.
