As the counting of votes starts on Sunday at the Rajasthan College and Commerce College premises, Traffic Department has planned changes in routes and a number of diversions would also be put into practice.

The traffic would remain be diverted from 6 am several areas. No vehicles would be allowed to pass through JLN Marg coming from Gandhi Circle, OTS Crossing, Bajaj Nagar, Lavan Marg and Sauumya Marg. Vehicles, only those of authorised personnel from Election Commission and media would be allowed to pass through JLN Marg from 6 am till the declaration of results. The vehicles would be diverted to Bai Ji Ki Kothi, Jhalana Dungri, Gandhi Nagar Mod, Tonk Road over bridge, and Gandhi Nagar Railway station from where they can take the Bhaskar flyover.

Meanwhile, incoming of all kind of heavy vehicles would remain be prohibited from Trimurti Circle to OTS Crossing.

The vehicles of officers deployed in counting processes would be parked at Poddar School.

Besides, vehicles of other government employees and media would be parked at the service lane adjacent to Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and the NCC Centre. The remaining vehicles associated with government duties can be parked at the office of the Additional DCP (East) Jaipur and Jhalana Road.

Alternate routesDiversion (from 6 am): Vehicles coming to JLN Marg would be diverted to Bai Ji Ki Kothi, Jhalana Dungri, Gandhi Nagar Mod, Tonk Road flyover from where traffic would be diverted to Gandhi Nagar Rly station

Heavy vehicles will remain prohibited: Incoming of all types of heavy vehicles would remain be prohibited from Trimurti Circle (Police Memorial) to the OTS Crossing till the election results are declared.
