The culprits involved in 154 cases of dacoity, robbery, burglary, theft, chain snatching, vehicle theft and murder last month have been nabbed in Bangalore.

Eighty two persons involved in 154 cases of dacoity, robbery, burglary, theft, chain snatching, vehicle theft and murder last month have been nabbed and property over Rs1.50 crore recovered from them, police said in Bangalore today.
Important cases solved included recovery of vehicles worth Rs30 lakh in 37 cases from a native of Hyderabad, presently residing in Kudlu village in Bangalore, City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told reporters today.
He used to steal the vehicles using duplicate keys from all over Bangalore and then sell it to others, Bidari said.
Another major achievement for police was nabbing a six member gang and recovering valuables worth over Rs12 lakh including gold ornaments worth Rs11.30 lakh from them, he said.
In all, valuables worth Rs1,50,36,237 was seized in all the 154 cases, Bidari said.
