Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) candidate from Pune, Rupali Patil may not have got the good news of her win in Municipal Elections 2017 yet, but she got another ‘good news’ in life.

According to Pune Mirror, the MNS corporator from PMC delivered a baby boy on Friday. She was campaigning in ward no 15 on Friday, when she went into labour and was rushed to hospital. Later in the day, she gave birth to a healthy boy.

Patil had been campaigning in her constituency despite of being pregnant, and was also attending meetings and carrying out her work.

Pune Municipal Corporation elections for 162 seats will be held on February 21, and the results for polls will be announced on February 23.  At least 1,102 candidates have registered to contest the polls till February 8, which was the last day to withdraw nominations.

Will the young boy bring good luck for Patil? We will know on 23rd.
