Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi from Friday to inaugurate several infrastructure projects, address public gathering, and hold an interaction with a group of Muslim women. According to BJP's eastern Uttar Pradesh media in-charge, Sanjay Bhardwaj, "The PM will open the second phase of a trade facilitation centre for weavers and handicraft workers in Bada-Lalpur on September 22."As many as 17 infrastructure projects, including Ramnagar-Samne Ghat bridge and Balua Ghat bridge are to be inaugurated by him. He will also lay the foundation stones of nearly six projects including Ramna Sewage Treatment Plant. He will also flag off the country's third Mahamana Express from Varanasi to Vadodara using a remote control. The new weekly train will run from Varanasi every Friday and from Vadodara every Wednesday. After a public meeting he will interact with 700 Muslim women at the DLW auditorium. Several madrassa students will also be felicitated by the PM.The Prime Minister will dedicate a community kitchen ('Annakshetra') near the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple, Nitin Ramesh Gokarn, Varanasi Divisional Commissioner, said.On September 23, Modi will inaugurate 'Pashu Arogya Mela' in Shahanshahpur on the outskirts of the city. He will launch banking services of the Utkarsh Bank, and unveil a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of the headquarters building of the bank.
