Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Varanasi to launch 13 development-related schemes on July 14. This will be PM Modi’s 13th visit to his Lok Sabha constituency in last four years.

Keeping in mind the PM’s hectic trip, during which he will inaugurate the projects, the PMO has directed all agencies to finish the pending works on these projects by July 10. Modi will inaugurate the four-lane National Highway 56 from Babatpur airport to Varanasi, Heritage walk route in Old Kashi, Varanasi Ring Road Phase 1, renovation and beautification of seven city parks, Sewerage Pumping Station and a 220 KV power sub-station at Raja Talaab.

After blowing the bugle for 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Maghar in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh on June 28, the PM is expected to strengthen his attack on his party’s opponents.
