Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday at a poll rally here that the country was fed up with Congress's arrogance and was saying "ab bahut hua".
Lashing out at the Congress over Sam Pitroda's "hua to hua" remark regarding the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday at a poll rally here that the country was fed up with Congress's arrogance and was saying "ab bahut hua".
Modi claimed Pitroda's comment mirrored the hubris with which the opposition party has dismissed the misdeeds it committed when it was in power: "The three words — hua to hua — uttered by the guru of the naamdaar [Rahul Gandhi] in front of TV cameras sum up their [Congress's] attitude. This is the way they have brazened it out whenever their regimes have been discredited by corruption scandals."
