The statue has been displayed in New Delhi on Monday. It will be sent to London to be displayed at the Madame Tussauds museum there.

PM Modi's statue is seen dressed in his signature fashion statement: a kurta and Nehru jacket. The wax statue is seen in a 'namaste' pose in the pictures.

PM Modi's wax statue will join that of other leaders like Mahatma  Gandhi, President Obama, Winston Churchill, David Cameron, Angela Merkel and Francoise Hollande.

In a press release by Madame Tussauds, PM Modi has been quoted as saying, "What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do.  What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Today, I had an opportunity as the prime servant of my people to meet my wax figure."
